Since Calgary’s great fire in 1886, sandstone has been a building block of the city and part of its history for over 135 years. When wooden homes and buildings needed to be rebuilt with a non flammable material, Calgary extensively used sandstone to construct them, coining the name “Sandstone City” for its extensive use of the stone.
To this day, Sandstone is still imbedded and tied to the history of this province. To continue this legacy, Stone Concept is proud to announce our line of Alberta sandstone veneers, each with the durability, style and timelessness that comes with sandstone.
